not much at all

So seriously, this day was very uneventful. Pony was not as well behaved as she has been but I guess we can’t always have good days now can we? But it wasn’t a total disaster like it had been a few times in the past (when we were trying to reverse bad training).

I figure since I am not interesting today I should let you see the vid Kurt Schneider posted today, it’s just a little update but I’m kind of looking forward to College Musical the Movie XD.

Also, FINALLY heard back from my neurologist and I have an appointment tomorrow.

throw chicken at it…

So first off I would like to share what my day was like. Not only did I go to work and have to spend an extra hour doing the things that the morning guy “forgot” to do yet again (grr) but that wound up putting me so that I didn’t leave the barn until 8:30pm just as I was getting a call that my sister’s dog had gotten into the garage and was running around and my parents couldn’t catch her.</span

When I got home they had gotten her in but she was going from do to door whining wanting my sister to come home. Now this dog is very vocal so it got annoying after a while. Finally, I got some of the boiled chicken for her dinners and fed little pieces to her while she sat on the couch and she finally calmed down (for a little while at least). I swear she is neurotic (what’s with my sister and neurotic animals with separation anxiety [first a horse and now a dog?]).

Oh but I found this for everyone, I’m not sure if Miley is turning into Brittney Spears or if she’s just trying her damnedest to shake the Disney kid reputation. Either way her pole dancing STILL sucks, she should stick to Disney, it pays better.</span

I’m STILL tired, so ima go bed, enjoy!</span

horse show coma

So I thought all of my napping yesterday would have helped but I am STILL exhausted. It didn’t help that I had to get up wicked early because the morning help got stuck in NY. So I worked a 10 hour day. Needless to say that did nothing for my exhaustion. My trainer was still tired too.

So until I get enough sleep to feel less like a zombie my blogs will probably be short.

Here’s a little video I found, it’s not as good as the Kurt vs Jake deal but it’s still good.

shorts are awesome

So today was pretty slow, I broke the same nail again, in a different place, I believe it MUST be defective because I’ve never had this problem before. So to cover it up I went high school emo and covered the little white lines with sharpie. You can’t really tell from a distance that there is something wrong. So it will do until I decide on a new pair I like.

So we went to see the ponies today, they were cute, apparently they hadn’t been loved very much. Unfortunately none were what we were looking for but we did spend some time loving the sweetest one which was also the oldest one. The poor girl was still covered in her winter coat and it’s been over 90 for the past few days so we brushed her up as best we could. Had she been younger we would have picked her, but an 18-ish year old horse who needs a lot of work is difficult to support and there’s no guarantee that she’ll be rideable once she is healthy. The one was cute but had crappy conformation (which is about all you can go on with a horse in that sort of shape) and the third was very stand-offish and wanted nothing to do with us so he wasn’t worth it (personality is the only other than you can go on). So sadly we left them there. I hope they do find good homes though.

So my trainer and I got to talking she told me about this awesome video. Just keep watching and reading XD

So I just want to share another talented artist with everyone. Her name is Tiffany Alvord and you can check out her on youtube this is a link to her account and one of her original songs. She also does a lot of covers and she has a wonderful voice and is obviously talented.

yellow chick or blue bunny?

So I was just informed that I will have to get a new sewing machine to make riding pants because the one I have is incapable of handling stretchy material. That’s quite a bummer as a new sewing machine costs about $400-$500 unless I find one at a garage sale or something (which I will be searching through for various reasons this summer). Let’s all cross our fingers and hope I find one XD. I’m also browsing around for a t-shirt graphics shop that has reasonable prices, so I’ll see how that goes as well. I need to do a bit of research.

So what I didn’t mention yesterday is that I wound up going down to Clayton, NC to try the most adorable pony in the world. His name is Bear and he is SOOO cute. He’s really sweet, and my trainer is considering buying him, as another pony for some of the better students to ride and maybe show. He’s got the most adorable jump I’ve seen in a while. Here’s the video of him that the barn had on his ad XD.

I thoroughly enjoyed riding him, I nothing else. He will need some work getting used to English again (where he was when we looked at him he was doing western) but he was pretty good for me. So we’ll see how that goes.

My sister turned 25 yesterday; she’s officially a quarter of a century old. And she’s coming home from Africa in just over a month with her dog Maala. I’m excited; I miss her like WOAH. It’s been tough having her gone for so long.

Had lamb for the first time, it was delicious! Oh AND I got more jelly beans (I got 2 pounds of jelly beans of my choosing XD)!!!! I am quit pleased. Oh and I got peeps, I didn’t eat any today but I intend to put one in the microwave tomorrow (on suggestion of my dear Dee) to see it get BIG. Which should I do: a yellow chick or blue bunny (leave a comment below XD)? I shall take a picture and share it with everyone (you know, when I find that damn cord). Five bucks says my mom picked it up along the way and put it somewhere because she assumed I “left it out” and now she can’t remember where she put it so she’s saying I lost it. >.>
